DAY 18: #31DayAspiringPolyglot Challenge – Learning Persian (Fārsī)
شادی چیزی از پیش آماده نیست. آن از اقدامات شما نشات میگیرد.
shaadi chizi az pish aamaade nist. aan az eqdaamaat-e shomaa nash'at migirad.
Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your own actions.
An Inspirational Quote For Language Learners
There are only a few things in life that indeed make me happy: travel, taking photos, eating decadent food, and language learning. Even when I feel like I'm going to throw in the towel, I somehow muster the courage to keep on my language learning journey. I am re-enrolling into the FutureLearn Introduction to Italian course, have been practicing my Dutch, and going through my French as usual. Happiness has come from my actions. From finally taking the trip to Paris, Giverny, and Brussels that I dreamt about for years to exploring the Caribbean on a cruise all of it required me to be happy and grateful for the good, the bad, and horrible. With learning Persian (Fārsī), it's celebrating all the small victories and feeling joy when I can understand a new word or phrase.
Last night, I was finally able to count to 100 and say my age. Thanks, PersianPod101!
